Tell us a little bit about you and your business

We are an independent financial advisory business, founded in Coffs Harbour in 2012 by Managing Director Christine McGregor.

In 2016 Craig McGregor joined the business as Commercial Manager, Joanne Rolfe as Client Manager and this year Fiona Erquiaga has commenced as Lending Manager, combining over 65 years finance industry experience.

We specialise in all aspects of residential, investment, commercial, business, SMSF (LRBA), motor vehicle and equipment finance.

At My Mortgage Manager, we partner with our clients to offer a choice of personalised finance solutions. We empower clients to live a lifestyle they desire, working together to create a secure financial future for themselves and their families. My mortgage manager has established a loyal client base due to our delivery of superior service and outstanding results for clients.

What inspired you to start your own business

A passion for helping people, using our in-depth knowledge of banks and lenders to ensure our clients get the best financial outcomes.

What do you specialise in

We specialise in the structuring of finances for residential homeowners and investment property investors. In Commercial lending, we specialise in Property investment, construction/development, Health, Professional services and Real Estate.

What do you most enjoy about your work

The ability to make peoples dreams become reality, whether that be buying their first home, their dream home or their first investment property. Educating clients how to create a lifestyle and a secure financial future.

What keeps you motivated

Delivering the best possible outcomes for our clients. A home purchase for some is the single biggest transaction they will undertake. Our aim is to remove the stress and time consumed and make it a streamlined process. Apart from that… we all like a little dance to JT (Justin Timberlake).

How long have you been at The Promenade

We moved from a home office to The Promenade in February 2016.

What do you like about being based here at the Promenade

The proximity to CBD and Jetty, whilst enjoying the relaxed atmosphere and creek outlook.

What trends are you seeing in the mortgage sector

At present in the mortgage/home loan industry, there are many factors impacting on borrowers which are as a result of an uplift in the property market, regulatory limitations on Lenders by APRA, government policies etc.

There are daily changes which affect borrowers such as interest rates changes independent of RBA cash rate, investment lending limitations, borrowing capacity etc. It is our role to be informed on these changes and navigate impacts so we can educate and provide our clients with personalised finance solutions.
