Melanie Jayne specialises in bridal couture and has dressed many brides and their attendants over the years. When Melanie and her family migrated to the sunny shores of Australia from across the pond (New Zealand) in 2004, she brought her skills and expertise to our little spot of paradise here in Coffs and established her own small bridal boutique.
Melanie designs and creates beautiful wedding gowns for brides from all over Australia made from fine silks, satins, exquisite laces and intricate beading. She always designs her gowns to suit the personality and shape of the wearer – delicately moulded around the body and paying great attention to the final fit. Her designs are truly exquisite.
Melanie hopes that her daughters will one day play their part in the art form of bridal couture. Melanie’s daughter, Kimmie, grew up under her mother’s sewing desk and has gone on to study fashion at NSW TAFE. Kimmie has now joined forces with Melanie and brings her valuable skills in concept drawing, pattern making, fashion illustration and fine hand finishing skills to the business, complimenting Melanie Jayne’s beautiful designs.
We stock gowns, shoes, veils and accessories and welcome any bride-to-be and their guests to come in and have a look.
